The day job calleth! I’ll post winners and a real blog post later this afternoon. My apologies ladies for making you wait!
I want to apologize in advance for not coming back and commenting. I hate to sound like a broken record but the day job *shaking head* (Sasha I keep meaning to try Christopher Moore!).
Winners…Please email me at amie at amiestuart.com with the e-book format you’d like. I bought five copies of HOTTER THAN HELL so I assume I can DL and email them to you in whatever format Samhain Books store has available.
And without further ado… DEIDREE(14), MARY (8), ESTELLA (4), LINDA H. (9) and REE (14) are our five winners!
I hope everyone is having a lovely Mother’s Day!! I apologize for drawing this so late–I had a book signing that pretty much ate up all of yesterday. And the first person I drew…er Random.org chose was #6 Shelli.
Going to try again. BRB
Second time’s the charm!! Random.org sleected #14 RACHIEG You’ve won your choice of Shelli’s print books available from amazon.com.

PSA TIME: So in case you didn’t know, there’s a contest going on over at my blog. I’ve roped some awesome folks into giving away books and i’m giving away copies of Hittin’ It, Make U Sweat and a bunch of other (new, free, some signed) books.
The eldest child is home with the flu. The school called yesterday to tell me he was queasy and running a fever. He got up this morning and asked for Jell-O so we hit the grocery story after dropping off #2 son. I’ve been queasy since yesterday but no sign of fever–I’ haven’t had the flu in like five years. And last time…WHOA!!! I was so sick (delirious and feverish) I couldn’t go to the store and get Ramen Noodles–and the grocery store was RIGHT across the street from my house. I had to call my dad and make him drive 30 minutes to bring me Ramen and Advil. Two days later, I STILL couldn’t hear right.
All of this is to say, when you’re sick…you just want your mom. Mom always made Potato Soup when I was sick. For me, it’s the ultimate comfort food. What about you? What’s your comfort food? Do you have something special you just HAVE to have when you’re feeling snotty and feverish?*

*Sorry for the semi-lame post…I’m gonna go lay down and read now.
