365 Days Later here we are. Still alive and kicking. You know when Shelli first came to me and asked me to be a Nas(ty) Girl I was very hesitant because I was already involved in one group blog. Did I have the time? Did I have the energy, and just how many crazy-ass, off the wall blog topics could I come up with? A group blog is a group effort and a huge undertaking.

That said, I’m so proud over how well we’ve done here and what we’ve made, that I could just burst at the seams!

Personally, 365 days ago my first print book was released. Today I’m celebrating another release*.  It’s been a crazy year, full of a lot of challenges (teenagers, agents, deadlines, a puppy (WTF) broken dishwashers!), but I wouldn’t trade it or this writing gig for anything.

Now, instead of looking back. Let’s look forward. What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish in the next 365 days?

I’d LOVE to tell you what went on after my RWA party but I can’t….because someeone’s using it as a contest over at SFC. All I can say is while there were no adult toys, there was police involved. AND as if my night weren’t bad enough, I call the kids to tell them I’m um running a wee bit late and they tell me that they spent 2 hours prank calling pizza places!!!!!!! I know I know I shouldn’t laugh….but I also know I did the same thing as a kid–except I DIDN’T TELL MY PARENTS HELLOOOOOOOO oh well.

Sooooooo instead today I’m going to blog about something else. Fellow Author Colleen Gleason is running a Pay it Forward contest on her blog.  There are great prizes for bloggers and participants.  Personally, I think this is a fabulous idea….so fabulous I’m going to play….not because I want to win, but because I think it’s just a really cool idea.

OMG I’ve spent the last two days working out my kids semi-legible Christmas lists!  GAAAAA I think I finally got it all sorted out though.  I still need to find a refurbed X-box–lest you think I’m cheap, Gamestop has a really nice exchange warranty and on used games you can bring them back in like a week no questions asked if you dont like the game.  Yeah you can see where my retail dollars are going.

Anwayyyyyyy besides the obvious (agent/ny deal etc) what do you want for Christmas? Do you buy for yourselves?  Does the spouse?

I want GAMES (thanks Deanna!) and a new spiffy iron I found and some perfume… all of which I’ll buy myself because I damned well deserve it  :badgirl:
