My apologies for being SO LATE!!! We had our Christmas part at work yesterday and after good food and good liquor, I could barely string two sentences together. Today I had to see the doc for the yearly exam we girls subject ourselves too–FUN TIMES!
More years than not, I’m a big old scrooge and this year seems to be no exception. The kids have already gotten most of their Christmas presents (and so have I)–they needed a new monitor and I got a really good deal via Staples AND they really needed more memory for their computer. Son is taking a graphic design sort of course and I know photo manipulation programs like the one he uses just EAT memory!!! Otherwise it’s going to be very very quiet. I’m not even sure we’ll put the tree up this year–I’m just hoping to finish painting the living room.
Our new Christmas tradition seems to be spending the day watching movies–hopefully this year I’ll remember to a) lay in food or b) cook something so we’re not running around Christmas night looking for an open restaurant (like last year!)
What about you guys? Any big plans?

Sherry thanks for stopping by!!! Your Christmas day actually sounds LOVELY!!!
I remember my first Christmas post-divorce w/out the kids. My aunt asked if I was okay to which I replied, “I got to sleep late on CHRISTMAS DAY and none of my presents are wrapped. What’s not to love??”
