Well, with the approach of the holidays, many many movies are coming out. Are you excited for any? I have to confess, I am.
Now what’s the one I’m most excited for? New Moon! It was my FAVORITE of the Twilight books and I’m dying to see if the movie does it justice! Plus I have a totally inappropriate Mrs. Robinson crush on Jacob. I have no intention of running out opening night or even weekend (plus I’ll likely be recovering from the end of jury duty!), but I’m definitely thinking a week from now!

Movies for the kid, well I’m excited to take her to The Princess and the Frog and Planet 51. My kid loves going to the movies and I fully intended to take her to one for her 6th birthday (last week!) but unfortunately the only movies out for kids were kind of scary. Wild Things and A Christmas Carol both had reviews about how scared even 10 year old kids were! Umm no. So I’m really excited to see a kid’s movie that’s actually appropriate for, well, kids.

So how about you? Any movies your jonesing to see the moment they come out? Any others I should put on my radar?

I am definitely going to see New Moon!
I wanted to see Where the Wild Things Are, because it was one of my all time favorite books as a kid but I’ve read alot of mixed reviews about the movie.
I also want to see Avatar. That looks interesting.

I have a strange obsession with disaster movies, so I’m totally going to go see Cusack in 2012. But the mancandy and I are looking forward to seeing Pirate Radio and Boondock Saints II.
We’re huge fans of Notting Hill and Love, Actually style movies, it’s so sappy.
Boondock Saints is like household tradition. Have you seen it? It’s utterly amazing. The second is promised to be every bit as good.
And lastly, I collect these types of movies (which is the one real exception I make to my need for happy endings, since none of them tend to be), so I’m wanting Red Cliff to come out: http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/redcliff/
Now if only movie theater ticket prices would go down…

2012, New Moon, Ninja Assassin, SHERLOCK HOLMES!!!, Legion, and I am sure there are more!
I LOVE movies. Hubby and I probably have about 400 of them. We throw them in and have them playing in the background while we do chores and stuff.

I saw the trailer for Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Shutter Island.” It looks very interesting, but the movie doesn’t come out until February.

Don’t feel bad. I’m in lust with Jacob. Taylor Lautner is gorgeous. I’m very excited to see The Princess & the Frog. Also, Ninja Assassin — Mostly because of the hotness that is the “good guy” assassin, played by Rain.

Ah yeah I’m not into the Twilight stuff, even my daughter was griping about it last night, saying how a friend of hers named her kitten Twilight. She thought it was lame. LOL! And then your six year old loves it right Shell? Too funny.
I definitely want to see the new Disney movie. It looks so cute! I’ve always loved the story of the princess and the frog…

NEW MOON and THE BLINDSIDE are at top of my list. 2012 looks like it might have potential as well.
