They’ve been coming to Fresno for years (the city I’m closest to) and of course, this year, no go. Jerks! So I’m meeting my sister in law in Sacramento and we’re going together. How fun is that? I can escape the kids, check out the crazed fans and yell for my precious Adam Lambert:

I can hardly remember the last concert I went to. Hmm, I think it was Maroon Five? No, no. Bryan Adams and Def Leppard? Yeah, that was it. What a concert! What a throwback! And it was outdoors too during a particuarly hot summer day. That was fun. A lot of friends went so that was cool. I don’t go to concerts much anymore. I’ve turned into an old lady. I even complained to Ames that I’m afraid the concert on Friday might be too loud for my delicate ears. Pppffhh…
What was the last concert you went to? Do you even go to concerts much or are you sporadic at best like me? I used to go to way more back in the day. Kids have a way of cramping your style. Am I right? You know I’m right!

My nephew was at the Portland concert and met Adam. Got pics with him and said it was so good. I’m sure you’ll have a blast.

Last concert I went to was Grateful Dead in DC with Bob Dillon just before Jerry Garcia died in ‘95. And before that Pink Floyd in SF, ‘94.

*sigh* Of course I couldn’t go to my much coveted No Doubt, they came to town when I was giving birth. Dang it.
