365 Days Later
365 Days Later here we are. Still alive and kicking. You know when Shelli first came to me and asked me to be a Nas(ty) Girl I was very hesitant because I was already involved in one group blog. Did I have the time? Did I have the energy, and just how many crazy-ass, off the wall blog topics could I come up with? A group blog is a group effort and a huge undertaking.
That said, I’m so proud over how well we’ve done here and what we’ve made, that I could just burst at the seams!
Personally, 365 days ago my first print book was released. Today I’m celebrating another release*. It’s been a crazy year, full of a lot of challenges (teenagers, agents, deadlines, a puppy (WTF) broken dishwashers!), but I wouldn’t trade it or this writing gig for anything.
Now, instead of looking back. Let’s look forward. What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish in the next 365 days?

You’ve had a kick butt year, Amie! Lots of releases and sales! You rock the box.
In the next year I’d like to hit my goal weight and make more NY sales. Plus I’d like to do that whole making out thing.

I’ve lost 54 pounds over the past three years,
mainly through my diabetic life plan. My goal
for the next 365 days would be the loss of
another 25 pounds. My ultimate goal of no
longer needing to take as many medications as
I currently do could be implemented with such
a weight loss!

Hubby and I would love to get our home improvement projects all done. With two kids under the age of 5 it is hard to get it done quickly so we have been doing it in bits and pieces.

Over the next year I plan to finish at least two of my WIPs and submit at least one.
I also have various and sundry home improvement projects I need to do (mostly yard related) and I know there is a scale in my bathroom that laughs at me every morning that I need to incinerate.

Oh, this was hard because I really wanted to make one that I could possible accomplish, you know. So mine is more general of getting my house more organized. Its hard convincing hubby to throw anything out. I do it secretly all the time, (he half the time doesn’t even ask what happened to so and so shirt with the 50 holes in it). So I really want to do more of the weeding here. I do need room for bookshelves. LOL

Amie…congrats on the new release! I’m thinkin that I’d like to accomplish finishing the paralegal program and getting my degree and then going to work in the field, either for the county or the Feds(long shots but hey, we can all dream, right?! LOL!) and I’m with Shelli on the whole makin out thing…I’m ready to get down and dirty with some great guy!
