Get some

get-some

Holy macaroni and cheese, but it’s been one year since we launched Naughty and Spice! Can you believe it?! I barely can. So much has happened in this past year. And then again…so much hasn’t.

While I’m typing this post out, I have a chef in the kitchen whipping up a cake for our celebration. He was so sweet to let me take a quick picture of him. I’ve included a picture of the cake and the recipe at the end of this post

Week after week we talk about anything and everything here. We laugh at the word discretion. Because if we can’t have one place on the internet to just let loose, then where’s all the fun in that? We’ve talked about our sex toys, hair dye for down south, women we’d do if we swung that way…we just like to discuss it all.

A year ago I was dreaming of selling to NY and getting an agent. A week ago that became a reality. That’s where I’ve come so far. Where have I actually gone backward? Or lost ground? Oooooh, that thing called having a love life.

The very first Naughty and Spice post–and my first post here–was all about that toe curling passion. I’d just had a kiss that was nice, but didn’t quite knock my socks off. I made it a vow to keep looking for the one that would.

Have I found it? No. Have I attempted to find it? Double no. My love life has actually gotten worse in the past year… which if you’d told me then that was possible, I would have laughed in your face. But sadly, it is possible.

So my goal for the next year? Well, to also sell a book that isn’t erotic to New York (but still sensual!) and maybe even to…get some? Yeah I said it. To get some. Even if some is just a hot and heavy make out session. It’d be a good start.

So what’s gone on in the last year with you? And please share what you like (if anything) about our blog! And maybe what you’d like to see more of?

And now…here’s that cake and recipe I promised. Mmmm, hope you brought your appetite!

CAKE INGREDIENTS

1 box German chocolate or spice cake mix
1 box of white cake mix
1 package (12 or 16 oz) white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
A few drops green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent
  SERVING “DISHES AND UTENSILS”

1 NEW cat-litter box
1 NEW cat-litter box liner
1 NEW pooper scooper

Prepare and bake cake mixes, according to directions, in any size pan. Prepare pudding and chill.

Crumble cookies in small batches in blender or food processor. Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup of cookie crumbs. Mix with a fork or shake in a jar. Set aside.

When cakes are at room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with half of the remaining cookie crumbs and enough pudding to make the mixture moist but not soggy. Place liner in litter box and dump in mixture.

Unwrap 3 Tootsie Rolls and heat in a microwave until soft and pliable. Shape the blunt ends into slightly curved points.

Repeat with three more rolls. Bury the rolls decoratively in the cake mixture.

Sprinkle remaining white cookie crumbs over the mixture, then scatter green crumbs lightly over top. Heat 5 more Tootsie

Rolls until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with crumbs from the litter box. Heat the remaining Tootsie Roll until pliable and hang it over the edge of the box.

Place box on a sheet of newspaper and serve with scooper. Enjoy!! This recipe was found here.

P.S. I will draw a name for the winner of a copy of one of my ebooks tomorrow morning and post the name!

Damn it Shell you put that cake recipe up! Gag me! :wtf:

You’ve done a lot this year and you should be proud! You’ll find that knight in shining armor, I just know it.

  2. Shelli Says:

I know, I really WAS going to put a pretty picture of a cake up, but this was too much fun. And I know–just know with all my heart–there is somebody sick enough out there to serve this at a kid’s birthday party.

Knight in Shining armor, hmm? Sounds intense. See I know I’m half the issue. I want it and yet I don’t. LOL. :lmao:

  3. Kissa Starling Says:

I love what you all have done with this blog in the past year. I don’t get by often but I always find something interesting when I do. Raising my glass to you- here’s to another year!

  4. Amelia Says:

Oh, I remember having this cake at my co-worker’s Halloween party. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Nothing has been going much since last year. I think the blog looks great, and I can’t think of anything to add.

  5. Shelli Says:

Hi Kissa! Thanks for the toast :)

Hi Amelia! WOW someone who’s tried this cake! I give you serious props. I would too, but I know many who wouldn’t! LOL.

  6. Ayla Says:

:badgirl: I would try that cake….but only after whoever made it ate some to prove it wasn’t actually cat litter lol.

You’ll find a guy eventually…but until then you can just ogle that cook :thumb:

  7. Alessia Brio Says:

I know I’ve been spending too much time with my kids when the first thing I thought of upon seeing that picture was playing MatchBox cars on his six-pack highway.

  8. Emma Petersen Says:

 I’m going to act like I didnt see that cake.

Anywho. I’m sure your nights out there, Shell. You just wait and see. He’ll show up when you least expect him.

  9. Rob Graham Says:

Can’t say the cake or the guy do much for me.

My love life is dead as a door nail. And I’m only just barely interested in working on it. Seriously, it’s more trouble that it’s worth. Even Enron doesn’t have as poor a return on investment.

    Joking. :nener: Mostly.

My writing’s been mixed. I got three e-books published in the last year and contracted. But my writing stalled for a while. I did just finish edits for my last e-book on Saturday. It will be out June 20th.

I’ll be working harder on my writing in the coming year. My love life? If I can find the time and energy. Which is unlikely.

  10. Amie Stuart Says:

    >>And I’m only just barely interested in working on it. Seriously, it’s more trouble that it’s worth.

Geez, maybe you should swing THAT way :lmao:

Sorry. Couldn’t help myself! You’ve really got to get out there more. Maybe I’ll have to go down to Seattle and try to find that freakin’ parking attendant and set it up myself. Is that REALLY what it’s going to take?! I’ll do it. I swear!!

  30. Shelli Says:

Hi Jammie! I bet that parking guy was married. There’s a ton that just don’t wear rings (we discovered this in another NAS post!) It’s hard to tell who to hit on nowadays.

  31. Caffey Says:

Congrats Pat!!! Yeah, your in a treat in any of those you read of Shelli’s!
