What Disturbs You?

What disturbs you?
For me it’s listening to the pres saying that the “bonus” money from the IRS (the one to SPUR economic growth) is to help offset the rising cost of gas. There’s something so incredibly flawed there that I can’t even put it into words.
And then there’s this tidbit from Hollywood Reporter.
Gary Coleman, wife head to ‘Divorce Court’
Transcript reveals couple discussing their issues
April 27, 2008, 08:06 PM
Gary Coleman, 40, and his 22-year-old wife, Shannon Price, are set to appear on TV’s “Divorce Court” on May 1-2.
Among the problems the pair discusses with Judge Lynn Toler are Coleman’s anger and intimacy issues.
“If he doesn’t get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a 5-year-old does,” Price says, according to a transcript of the show obtained by the Associated Press. “He bashes his head (against) the wall, too.”
Do I even need to comment?

Definitely not comment worthy.
But probably worth a laugh.

Methinks he stopped growing up around the time he stopped being a TV star. What you talkin’ ’bout Garry?

I just look at them and one word comes to mind. How?

Yeah that relationship is sooo strange - but Gary is just strange.
And the economic “bonus” checks to offset gas prices? Puh-leez. Most everyone I know isn’t going out and spending it that’s for sure. They’re putting it toward debt, etc.

Karen…that seems to be the general concensus. My goal this year is to get as far out of debt as I can. Of course the house needs gutters, and paint and 3 ceiling fans and new floors and mama needs a weed eater and a leaf blower/sucker … so it’s a little of this and a little of that ya know? *sigh*

That $600 bucks is a bribe. And even worse, a bribe with your own money.
If I was an American I’d give it back telling them I’m not for sale. And to spend the money on infrastructure, education, health care or best of all, alternative energy research. All of which would contribute more to the economy than me getting enough money to buy a new TV.
OK. End of rant. Sorry.

Dude, that won’t buy ME a new TV! And I don’t even watch much.
But then, ya know… When I do watch, I want to watch it big and bold.
yes, it’s a bribe.

The last time they passed these out I got it in August and had to pay it back in January by writing a check to the IRS for taxes. So much for that! I’d be afraid to spend it because then I wouldn’t have the cash to give it back to them next year.
