Johanna Lindsey! I would be a total fangirl stalker if she ever went to RT. Her and Dorothy Garlock. I still have a postcard from DG from when I was in High School and wrote her a fan letter. *grin* I had a great time at RT, and one of my favorite bits was sitting with some chic at the airport taste testing the food at TGI Fridays. :wink: It's all about connecting with others. Did I cover my idols. Honestly, I had that surreal moment when I first joined my local chapter and realized one of my other historical romance idols Margaret Moore was a member. I totally went fan girl on her. LOL! She's a real sweet lady. I have a message for Connie Mason from my Nanny (who passed away over ten years ago) who absolutely adored Connie Mason. She said reading Connie Mason was the only non-medicinal pain killer she had while the cancer ate her alive. Want to thank Connie for the books that helped my Nanny through her terminal illness. Ok, rambled on long enough. I'm starting to cry. I better go. Anyways, women like this are the reason I am here to today.
