Offensive? What Do You Think?

Okay well I came upon these photos quite by accident - I saw them on someone’s myspace page. Very random, just me scrolling along and then I caught sight of ‘em and was like (record scratch) whoa.
At first I was like, ha ha. That’s funny. Then the more I looked at them, the more it grossed me out. I so wouldn’t do this! I don’t find this glamorous or sexy. In fact, it kind of grosses me out.
Want to see what I’m talking about? Well check it out.

She is getting off on the fact that she’s sniffing his UNDERWEAR. The pose is quite provocative and at first I’ll admit, I didn’t even see what she was doing. But yes, she is smelling a man’s underwear and she’s in ecstasy.

Sigh. I don’t know about this. Has anyone heard of this campaign? I didn’t even Google it and I should’ve. But my GAWD, she’s sniffing underwear! It gives me the heebie jeebies!
What do you think? Gross? Sexy? Silly?

That’s just weird. Like…men are going to look at that ad and think, “Shit, man, if I buy those briefs I’ll have some half naked chick smelling my used undies? I’m IN!”
Weirdness.
January 30th, 2008 at 1:09 am
Exactly. It’s ridiculous. A campaign clearly aimed at men. Cos that chick is hot and no hot chick would sit there and sniff a man’s used underwear. Ewww.
January 30th, 2008 at 2:27 am
But man do I wish my thighs looked like that.
January 30th, 2008 at 7:03 am
LOL Karen. Where do you find this stuff. ;)
WTF is this about anyway? Is there something I’m missing here? When the hell was sniffing undies while in hospital, or ah… sitting on a photocopier (?) considered hot and sexy?
I think I missed the memo.
This is just strange, strange, strange.
Definitely gross, silly and other words I won’t say.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:49 am
Okay, I get that men are stupid and probably would buy undies because the says if they do some hot chick is gonna sniff them but how the F*** did this pass censors?
Totally in bad taste.
Only a woman would notice this but they’re not dirty. I’ve washed too many pairs of undies to know what dirty ones look like.

Maybe they are not used. Maybe they are new underwear. You know…like how some people like the smell of new car.
January 30th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
Well of course I’m assuming they’re brand new, clean underwear. But personally I think they’re alluding to the fact that if you wear this brand of underwear, your lady is gonna take ‘em and sniff ‘em.
Eeeeek.

The pics are lovely, but panties sniffing is just…not doing it for me.
January 30th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
It would only be hot if she were sniffing MY panties.
January 30th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
Shelli I was kinda wishing i had her boobs!

I googled it for you … this one has a woman on a sofa.
I don’t get it - maybe they’re trying to say that JBS underwear is sexy …
And if I were a man, I’d be afraid I’d have to keep buying underwear because some stacked dame keeps stealing them.

I like that ad better Bailey - and the slogan or whatever that men don’t want to look at naked men. Okay, I get it. Put her in the men’s underwear she’s sexy.
But sniffing? Ugh.
Thanks for Googling it!

Maybe we are looking at this the wrong way. What if these are a brand new undie invention? There are aromatherapy fuzzy socks now-they smell like melon. Seriously LOL
Maybe these are aromatherapy underwear infused with a scent scientifically proven to have an affect on hot blonde models with great thighs and perfect breasts. You know how much time and energy is spent on things like this for guys-

Yawn. What a boring woman. The person in the pic that is
I hadn’t even noticed what she was doing until someone pointed it out. Don’t find it gross. Now if the garments she appeared to be sniffing were obviously used, then I’d find it a bit gross.
But after a year as a janitor it’s difficult to gross me out.

i’m just trying to figure out why she’s sitting on the COPIER smelling his underwear. I mean, at least the nurse “story” I can kinda follow…but the copier? REALLY?
January 30th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
LOL! I showed the ads to my DH and asked him if they would make him buy underwear. He said “What underwear??”
January 30th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
I read a story where the hero removed the panties from the heroine, then LICKED the crotch of them.
I just…I just…I just couldn’t find that sexy.
Especially when they had previously had a sexual interlude that day. So…yeah…I just could’nt.

I don’t think it’s gross, just weird. and I’m not so sure I’m diggin’ on her thighs. They don’t look too bad, I suppose. But I get this impression that from another angle…
look, thighs should be bigger around then biceps… just saying’
January 30th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
OMG LICKED the crotch of her panties?
That’s just - wrong. On so many accounts.
And Natasha that doesn’t surprise me about your hubby not noticing the underwear! Too funny.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:14 pm
Hmm, I don’t think most men will even know what the add is for. They’ll think
January 30th, 2008 at 9:22 pm
OMG! So, not appealling. Reminds of my dog’s fetish for digging in the laundry…
Let me tell you, finding my dog’s stash under the bed or whatever just grosses me out.
January 31st, 2008 at 2:38 am
yeah-there is nothing attractive about this!
January 31st, 2008 at 10:27 am
Umm most definitely gross … I love my DH but I would never EVER smell his underwear.
January 31st, 2008 at 12:12 pm
LOL FESITY!!!!!!
You know…like how some people like the smell of new car.

Ok I’m sorry but that would be like using Camel Toe to advertise jeans……..just Ew
January 31st, 2008 at 9:52 pm
…no. Bleh. For some reason, it reminds me of that ad for Candies (the shoe brand) that featured Jenny McCarthy or someone like that perched on a toilet…or am I just making that up?
Meanwhile, my husband just says
or should I say…
