   I live to offend. My jaded old ass could not care less about Christmas anymore, it’s just too stressful. But I still get annoyed at all the speech police who are forcing the word from our lexicon. I almost feel sorry for the big retailers. It’s their big money making time, but they want EVERYbody’s money so they try to kiss EVERYbody’s ass to get it. “Jane we want you to buy your CHRISTMAS gifts from us, but we don’t want to offend Rahini, so we’re just gonna call them “holiday” gifts, okey dokey?”
   Ya reckon next year’s calendars will say “Holiday” and “Holiday Eve”, or do you think it will take them longer to accomplish that?
   Well I’m off to work to sell books as Christmas gifts….. Ahhhhh, Christmas in Retail, it’s such a special little hell…..
