First Kiss Stories

first-kiss-stories

I’ll never forget my first kiss. I was fourteen. It was at Yosemite. I was camping there with my mother and she let me bring my best friend, Shelley. We met these guys and I developed a shy crush on one boy. His name was Lance and he was from Monrovia, CA. I was living a few miles outside San Francisco and anything L.A. seemed so cool. And I loved his name, I thought it was romantic. Lance. L-A-N-C-E. He was tall and seventeen and he gave me a beer. We all climbed onto this big tree that had fallen across the river and I sat there and waited. I kept looking up at him, wondering when he was gonna do it, and then finally. He leaned down and kissed me.

And I fell off the tree trunk and into the river.

Sputtering, I got up but it was too late. We’d been camping for five days; no hair-dryer, no black eyeliner. No matches to melt said eyeliner. When I popped back up from that sandy river I looked like shit. And Lance gave me his hand, pulled me to my feet, and smiled. Then he moved on to Shelley.

We’re not friends anymore.

So that’s my first kiss story. What’s yours?

My first kiss was pretty much just a smack on the lips at a 6th grade halloween party.

I remember the first kiss that actually fired up my engines, though. He was a college boy home for summer and I was finishing up my last week as a senior at high school. I had not been kissed like that from the high school boys and I was SOLD.
    *ah*

I went on to totally screw that relationship up, but he was nothing but sweet and wonderful to me. And he kissed me like there was nothing more important in the world than kissing me. I even missed the senior “Capture the Flag” game so I could make out with him on my couch.

Feisty! LOL. That’s just hilarious. And I totally got the visual. And Gwen I love your story, too.

My first peck kiss, was really a 1-2-3 kiss thing with a boy I’d grown up with. My REAL kiss, tongue and all, was in college (Let’s not discuss my painful high school years where I was terrified of boys!)

It was a party, the power had gone out, and I’d been talking to a totally alternative looking guy (Hawaiian shirt and spikey hair: alternative for the time). He charmed me, made me curious, and was a needed distraction from another guy who hadn’t come to the party. Anyway, the power went out and everyone started snuggling up around the house to keep warm. He invited me to share his blanket, I did…and, hmm, nice things happened. Not THAT nice, but nice. I never saw him again. I think he was just what I needed at the time.

Um, I don’t remember. I’d bet money it was Holly, though. She was my first for a lot of things.

My first kiss happened in the first grade. He was this cute little blond boy-can’t remember his name. Anyway he used to make faces and do crazy things everytime the teacher’s back was turned. One day he leaned over and kissed me right on the lips! I smacked him. It was true luv.
Later he came over to my apartment to play doctor.

No-we really played doctor. I had a little plastic medical kit thing-and I was standing there in my undies so he could listen to my heart. My sister caught us and started laughing so hard she couldnt breath (because apparently only I would say I was playing “doctor” and really mean it in the clinical sense). She told my mom and the little boy got sent home. He wasnt allowed over anymore.

    LOL Feisty! Great imagery

My first kiss was at the first “ball” I went to. I was 12 but looked quite a bit older. He was quite a bit older and looked very fetching in black tie :doglick: It was a full-on dance-floor snog.

My first kiss was a traditional, at-the-door end-of-date goodnight kiss. Paula Ann. I kissed her on both cheeks before daring to go for her lips. I guess I figured that way she could stop me if she didn’t want me to kiss her. Of course, she didn’t stop me.

I love first kisses. I can remember the first time I kissed each of the pivotal women in my life. Some were awkward, some smooth. One was not my idea and caught me by complete surprise. Many wonderful memories there.

Who here just fell a little more in love with Will?

Ah that was a great story Feist. And in Yosemite! Maybe you can come visit me and we can go revisit the first kiss scene. :woot:

My first kiss was in the first grade, Kenny. He jumped out of nowhere as I was walking to class and laid one on me. Right on the lips! I couldn’t believe it.

My first real whoo-hoo kiss was when I was 15 and went to a party by the lake with of bunch of kids from the rival high school. I met this dude, went to the back seat of my friend’s car and made out with him for a loooong time. And it was great. Alas, I couldn’t remember what he looked like the next day cos it was in the dark. Nice memory though.

I’m falling a little in love with kissing just reading all these posts. Sigh. I need to go out and just kiss someone. :nener:

  10. Robin L. Rotham Says:

You’ve probably all read my first kiss story, but I’ll tell it again anyway. I was 31. No, not 13, but 31. I’d been in love with Mr. Robin from afar for about three years and chased him from Colorado to Nebraska. Before I moved, I wrote him a letter and told him flat-out that I wanted to kiss him.

Eight months later, when I was living in Omaha, I visited him at his house, and as usual, we sat across from each other, just talking and looking at each other. We even talked about kissing but neither of us could work up the courage. I finally went and sat by him on the couch and he started tickling me, and when he got me in a clinch, he asked, “Well, now what are you gonna do?”

So I kissed him. Twice. No tongue. Then I drew back with a big grin and said, “We did it!”

He was grinning, too, and hugging me, so I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heart race. Just trying to make conversation after the big moment, I said, “Hey, you’ve got quite a heart in there.”

He pulled away and gave me a shocked look. “A WHAT!?”

It just took me a second and then I blushed hard and smacked him with a pillow. “A heart, you moron. Beating. In your chest!”

He pulled the pillow over his lap and said, “I was going to say, thanks for noticing.”

Then he hugged me again and said, “You know, you’re the only girl I know who would have gotten that.”

I didn’t know whether to be proud or embarrassed. :D

    I’ve never kissed anyone else.

  11. Shelli Says:

Okay, Robin, I got TEARS over that. So sweet. I’d heard he was your first, but not the story. *Sigh*
