Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be a guest on Naughty & Spice – thanks so much for having me!

My new release at Cobblestone Press, Something Wild, has seemed to have captured a lot of interest from both authors and readers.

I can’t be sure if the draw is from mixing genres, that the backdrop for the heat is the Jack The Ripper murders, if its just my natural fabulousness, or if it is a combination of all three. Regardless, I decided to share a little about this new story with you guys. I’ll also be drawing a name tonight from all those who leave comments, and someone will win a copy of my book tonight!

In Something Wild, London is a city drowning in fear as a barrage of gruesome murders plague the streets in Whitechapel. Detective Baden Sikes is out to find the ripper but gets preoccupied a bit with a young woman he decides to save from a life of thievery in the streets.

Baden wants Cora…wants her bad, but there is much at stake and he has his own secret…one that could destroy him and everyone he loves. Baden Sikes is a werewolf. And yes, I DID listen to the song A LOT when writing this book.

Okay so this week I’m blogging about what really turns me off. Gets my goat. Makes me go eww.

Shoes.

That’s right, shoes. I can not be attracted to a guy with bad shoes.

Now, I realize that good shoes are in the eye of the beholder. What makes me shiver just might make you puke. See, I have a thing for Black Boots. Docs, preferably. Big ones. Huge, lace-up, slightly scuffed and if they have a steel toe I just might go orgasmic. In fact, I believe I climaxed several times simply looking for images to post on this blog.

Sigh.

Anyway, there you have it. I am Feisty and have a boot fetish. And if you read anything at all that I have written you’ll discover that most of my heroines do, too.

So, what little things makes you hot and tingly all over?

I read to my kids every night before they go to bed, two books. One picked by girl child and one picked by boy child. It’s a good thing. It mellows them out, they relax against me, get all snuggly and reading is a good thing. Damn it, I’m a writer, I want my kids to be readers.

Problem is, once I start reading some of that crap ahem, I mean the children’s books, I start editing the thing in my head. Then I edit it as I read. It’s ridiculous.

But I can’t help myself.

I had nothing to blog about until I read this week’s People Magazine…..

Did you know Taylor Dyne (Tell it to my Heart) was plotting a comeback? Yeah, exciting huh…..until I got to this part:

Some women love being pregnant, but I didn’t need that.  The idea of not being in a relationship and carrying a child was not an option because then I wouldn’t be viable for a relationship.  I didn’t feel that any man was going to love me while I was carrying another man’s child.

Do I even NEED to comment? Do I?  Do I have to say what a STUPID BEOTCH she is?  I mean, if you NEED a surrogate mother to carry your child(ren) for you that’s one thing, but if you just DONT want to get pregnant because you MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH A MAN ….because Mr. Right might pass you by because you got a Buddah thing going on….oh…..ohhhhhh talk about stranger than fiction.  :wtf:

I’m opening the floor for comments.   Tell me she’s insane…or tell me something equally insane.

So I’m going to a party in a few weeks. A Halloween party. This party will be similar to the one I attended years back. One that left me wide eyed and forever changed. A party that inspired my book The Pirate’s Booty. If you’ve not read the book, well there’s an opening scene that’s, err, very provocative and hmm… gee, it’s a little hard to explain. Anyway it’s hot.

As I said, it’s been years since I attended this type of party. I don’t even do much at them but sit around with my eyes wide open, and my jaw on the floor. But it’s fun and it’s social. And let me tell you, I need social since I don’t get out much. So I’m…really looking forward to this occasion. Now here’s where I need your help.
