I have a secret crush on Zac Efron, of High School Musical fame. True, he's not a minor and I'm certainly not old enough to be his mom (unless I'd had a baby at 10, which, well, I didn't even get my period until 13, so not possible), but the mere fact that he plays a teenager -- in movies marketed to preteens -- is enough to kind of creep me out. Mostly, though, I feel dirty when I read a young adult novel and I think the character is adorable. Like, I'm desperate for Gemma and Kartik (from "Rebel Angels") to make sweet, sweet love in the Realms. And that makes me feel like a total pedophile, because he's MAYBE 19.
